ARMS OF THE ANGEL couldn't overhaul a Sir Mark Prescott improver at Epsom last week but it was a laudable performance confirming the Johnston inmate is going the right way and is ready to strike. It's unlikely there'll be anything as unexposed to overcome here and the extra furlong should prove beneficial. Spark of War produced a best effort of the season by far when a close third 12 days ago and is a one for the shortlist on that evidence but Four Kingdoms looks the main danger - three really solid runs in his last four starts and back up in trip will suit off an unchanged mark. Shine Baby Shine and Donnachies Girl are also noteworthy.
