Verdict

A cracking, select contest for a good purse in which the unexposed BOSTON GEORGE may make the most of the 10lb and upwards he receives all round, up to 13lb if the claim of his talented conditional is factored in. Not seen since mid-May when runner-up to a Haggas inmate at Wetherby. he's well regarded by connections and should have plenty more to come after three starts. The move up 1m should not be a concern. He faces tough, battle-hardened opponents though, with Nicholas T seeking a fifth course win, Crownthorpe not disgraced at York on Saturday and course and distance winners, Ventura Knight and Club Wexford gritty sorts who keep bouncing back for more. Danielsflyer would have a claim at his best too.
