Verdict
TURTLE WARS (NAP) was having his first outing of the year when finishing third at Hexham under today’s conditional. The runner-up has subsequently won so the form looks solid enough and he can come out best today dropping down a grade. Evita Du Mesnil won at this level before going close again at Sedgefield but has been raised a further 5lb while Foxey makes his handicap debut on his return to action having undergone a wind operation. Dora De Janeiro has won a maiden hurdle and looks best of the rest.
