In depth

Verdict

DEFINED showed a big improvement upped to 1m2f at Lingfield when beaten less than a length. He’s preferred of John Gosden’s three runners ahead of Coloratura Soprano and Bosphorus. The latter finished behind Cosmic George at Chelmsford on his debut while Al Nayyir is a full-brother to a Listed winner and makes more appeal than stablemate King Of Tomorrow. Gloucestershire and Ad Infinitum are both related to Graded winners in North America and are other newcomers to note.
