Mandy The Nag almost certainly needed her reappearance run but others do appeal as better treated, notably MARACUJA. Still a maiden for Mark Johnston, the filly has gone close to getting off the mark the last twice and a repeat of her latest career-best effort behind the useful Cossetted in Class 3 company at Chester would suffice. With only seven starts to her name, there should be more to come from the daughter of Medicean and she can go on to better things in the future. Itsnowcato was well backed to score at Hamilton on Saturday evening but Ed Walker's charge was no match for Never Forever. Nevertheless, it was a respectable effort and he'll certainly need to be considered if turning up here with Daniel Tudhope a good booking.
