Just For Ger, Jodika and Star Trooper are three against the field in a wide open affair with the tentative vote going to Jodika. The 7-year-old has been in fair form of late and was a fair fourth behind Ashleybank House last time. He is sure to be suited by the step up in trip and with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat. Just For Ger won a soft chase at Ayr last time out on desperate ground and with the switch to hurdles and the faster surface not in his favour he looks opposable. Star Trooper is also worthy of respect on his best form but ran as if he was in the handicapper's grip last time, while Gunson Hight would have chance on his Hexham win but he disappointed at Catterick last time. This is not an easy race to predict, but we will stick with Jodika as our tentative choice.
