CHOOKIE'S LASS has the best form on offer and has performed creditably on her last three starts, all in higher grade than this contest. The concern is that all her best has been delivered over a furlong further but she could have too much quality for this opposition if things pan out for her and the gaps appear at the right moment. Course and distance winner, Saxonette, continues to post solid handicaps efforts at the type of level and seems sure to be on the premises off an unchanged mark whilst Busy Bimbo is another possible as she has her trip and ground. Indeed, a repeat of her 1l third to Pea Shooter at Ripon last month makes her the main threat to the selection.
