      Verdict

      Plenty of solid recent form in evidence with RED PALADIN, a game Doncaster winner latest, taken to follow up of a 3lb higher mark. A mile on good ground is just the ticket and he receives narrow preference over Thankstomonty. The latter is quite lightly-raced and can be expected to progress again after breaking his duck with a game Beverley success this month for which he's only been raised 2lb. Course and distance winner Another For Joe was much better here last time and consequently merits respect along with So It's War, who will find this an easier assignment than when well beaten in a competitive Carlisle handicap last time.
