WINROB gets the vote in this apprentice handicap to close the card; the list of dangers is headed by Alicante and Musical Maze. The selection was well beaten at Brighton last time but he did not have the race run to suit that day and he could be worth another chance in this weaker affair. Alicante is interesting as he hails from the Sir Mark Prescott yard and he is upped in trip and that is a combination which often brings success. Musical Maze wasn't beaten all that far at Chester last month and this drop in trip is a plus for her today. King's Counsel should be suited by this longer trip so he is another to consider, but in a tricky finale the vote goes to Winrob.
