HAWKIT went close last time and he looks worth sticking with today; the list of dangers is headed by Talk of Saafend and Darfour. The selection is a course and distance winner and he was only narrowly beaten by Ibrox here last time. A reproduction of that effort would give him a big chance today and he looks the one to beat. Talk of Saafend was only beaten a head by Stateside at Hamilton last time but there is a question mark over her ability to see out this longer trip and on that basis we will take her on today. Darfour is not the most consistent but if he is on a going day then he could be another who would be capable of getting competitive. Jim Goldie's other runner Willyn is quite closely matched on form with our selection but she is hard to catch right and we will side with Hawkit as a safer bet.
