    Verdict

A tight handicap rounds off the card and the principles look to be Menai Straights, Half A Handful and Willjojo and the tentative vote goes to the last named. The selection landed a gamble when winning at Catterick last time and although he is rising in the weights, his young apprentice is taking off 3lbs and he is taken to go in again with conditions to suit. Half A Handful rates the main danger as he was a fair third behind Compton Plume last time. However, this extra furlong is sure to play to his strengths and with the booking of Kevin Darley catching the eye he is a danger to all. Menai Straights is another worthy of respect as he won well last time out when defeating Adorata but that form has since been let down so for that reason he is opposed. Musiotal has dropped to a handy mark and ran as if about to hit form last time, so he is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Willjojo.
