Verdict

Another Matti won this last year but arrives badly out of form this time round. By contrast, CHU CHU PERCY bids for a hat-trick having won over a longer trip at Catterick last time and is also preferred to Dedigout. The latter had plummeted down the weights before going close over track and trip and today’s amateur can claim 5lb while Western Rules was narrowly beaten at Newcastle last week in an all-weather bumper. Askamore Darsi has won under today’s rider before and Lochnell can race off a lower mark back over hurdles.
