Verdict

Our Lucas has been thereabouts of late but finished five lengths behind CHARMANT over course and distance back in December. The latter is 8lb higher today but was runner-up at Musselburgh last month and James Ewart’s charge should go close again back on testing going. Imada has won a novice hurdle here and should sharper for an outing at Kelso, her first start since 2016. He’s preferred off his current mark to Trongate and the Irish raider Man With Van.
