An open race in which Quys Law gets the nod ahead of Companero and Harry Wood. The selection comes here on the back of a good win at the track and is suited by plenty of give in the ground. His form has a solid look to it and given that the first two were well clear last time out, another big run should be in the offing. Mortimers Cross and Bronte Bay both have a penalty as well for recent successes and are proven performers so should go well, whilst Companero is a winning point-to-pointer and should not be ruled out with Tony Dobbin on board. Stablemate Emmenso should have come on for his debut, whilst Harry Wood represents a stable in top form and must be respected. A good race this, with Quys Law given the vote.
