      Verdict

      MELODY IN THE MIST can break his maiden tag at the fourth attempt while both Dower Glen and Sands Of Dee warrant respect. The selection has run three fine races in defeat this summer and now drops in grade for the first time. Connections have put him in with a realistic claiming price and he is good enough to win at this level. Dower Glen is another to drop into a claimer for the first time. He showed narrow improvement with first time blinkers finishing third at Musselburgh last time out and can run well. Sands Of Dee has only shown a moderate amount of ability in his three runs to date but trainer Richard Fahey has his team of horses in good order at present so any market moves should be noted. For the winner we return to Melody In The Mist.
