      Verdict

      Golden Valour was almost three lengths behind Ayr Poet over a mile here last week but is 3lb better off. However, that may not be enough turn the tables as the top weight is equally effective over this extra quarter-mile. Ice Shadow finally got off the mark at Nottingham last month but has 5lb more to carry here. The penny has dropped with RORY THE CAT and Lucinda Russell’s three-year-old has won twice at Beverley recently. He was only beaten a short-head over track and trip in between and can improve again to land this.
