    In depth

    Verdict

Bourne was raised 9lb after suffering a narrow defeat at Newcastle and that took its toll at Bangor last week where he could only manage fourth. Nosey Box has been raised 8lb for finishing second to Teddy Tee over 3m here earlier and the latter has gone up a further 10lb having fallen at the last when still in contention on his latest start. By contrast, HARTFORTH is 2lb lower than when finishing second to Fly Vinnie in a tougher contest than this at Musselburgh in January and Donald Whillans' charge gets the nod on that form.
