CRY OF TRUTH is given the tentative vote in this trappy sprint handicap; onto the shortlist for Asserting, What A Fella and Our Apolonia. David Barker's charge makes her handicap debut this afternoon off an almost basement mark of 51. She has been big prices on her three qualifying runs, but this quite well-related daughter of Danetime is expected to improve with this switch to handicap company. What A Fella has not lived up to his name so far; he is winless in nine starts and needs to improve. Pedregal and Meydan Groove both race off a mark of 45, as does Honey Berry who along with stablemate Missed Mondays should not be totally discounted. Top-weight Asserting drops back to six furlongs today which should suit judging on her Hamilton second back in May. Hettie Hubble is unexposed after just four starts but she has been beaten by over eight lengths on all four starts to date. This looks a very winnable race, when a market move for Iron Max might look significant; however it is Cry Of Truth who is fancied to lead them home.
