MYSTICAL AYR is back in her backyard and is taken to add her fourth course success; Tanforan, Silly Gilly and Wednesdays Boy make up the shortlist. Linda Perratt's mare comes here on the back of a five length fifth at Hamilton behind Moheeb. Dropped a further pound for that run, she is now 3lbs below her highest winning mark and with the ground to suit, she shouldn't be far away. Wednesday's Boy was a winner twice in August but then was well-beaten just 24 hours after her last win. Not unsurprisingly given a break since, she is fancied to run a much better race today. Beck is well-treated on old form but hasn't shown anything of late, so of more interest may be Superior Star who has some ground to make up on the selection but acts on soft ground. Silly Gilly is consistent, Apache Nation is well-treated on old form but hasn't won for two years, whilst Sirvino needs a check in the betting on his handicap debut. Tanforan is holding his form well and is another for consideration however we will return to Mystical Ayr.
