DISTANT PLEASURE makes more appeal than Yorkshire Blue who struggles to get his head in front these days but Jamieson Gold could give him something to think about. Michael Dods' filly has been raised by a pound for her short-head defeat over this course and distance on her latest start. That race was run on similar ground to the forecast conditions and she has a clear chance of going one better. Yorkshire Blue handles these conditions and is well handicapped on the best of his form. He also comes into the race in decent heart but he has only won once in his last twenty starts or so which counts against him. Balakiref may just be a shade high in the weights whilst Ubenkor and Top Tribute have to prove themselves on this ground so we'll nominate Jamieson Gold as our third runner to watch. Linda Perratt's charge is another runner well handicapped on the best of his form and is at home under these conditions but he's also on a long losing run so we'll stick with Distant Pleasure.
