In depth

Verdict

The consistent Crow Wood could be the key to this tricky little contest, with Wunderwood and Border Tale also expected to be involved in the shake-up. Although a move for Fast Foil could be interesting for those willing to stick with Mick Channon's charge after a number of missed opportunities of late. However, Crow Wood, who ran no sort of race at York last time, is better judged on his previous form this term - which saw him land a decent handicap at Haydock in June. He showed a willing attitude on that occasion and and a repeat dose will make him hard to beat here.
