The Tatling has hit a rich vein of form of late having won a competitive Sandown handicap over this trip late last month before being narrowly denied in the Ayr Gold Cup on his latest start. Milton Bradley's charge was a shade unlucky as he had to overcome a poor draw on the latter occasion so deserves a chance to gain compensation. The son of Perugino has gone up another 5lb but is still well treated on the pick of his form and is the TEAMtalk pick in a tough race in which there are plenty of dangers including Atlantic Viking. The David Nicholls-trained gelding is best on a quick surface as he showed when bouncing back to form to land a similar event at Epsom last time and shoukld give another good account despite being 6lb higher while Henry Hall ios back on a winning mark and showed his time is near when beaten in a photo at Beverley on his latest start. Peruvian Chief was a little below his best last week but has claims on a close second over the course and distance in July when 3lb lower in the handicap. Little Edward is relatively lightly raced and is better than his finishing position in the Portland last time suggests as he was eased when badly hampered in the closing stages so merits respect but Dancing Mystery has shot up in the weights following recent creditable efforts and may struggle on these terms.
