There is still a question over whether Rose Diamond is fully at home over this trip and she is passed over in favour of UVINZA. This looks a tricky race for punters but the selection is open to plenty more improvement this season. She was fifth in the May Hill Stakes (one length behind Rose Diamond in fourth) and then followed up that run with an unconvincing win at Lingfield. She is related to several horses that progressed well from two to three and she can provide William Knight with a much-needed winner. Newcomer Arwaah has some fancy entries later on in the season and her trainer has been patient with her; the market should help guide as to what is expected today. Apple Charlotte may not have beaten much on her debut but she is open to plenty of improvement, although jockey bookings might suggest that Honest Quality is the more fancied of Henry Cecil's pair. Penalised for her Listed win at Sandown last season she is probably up against it but the step up to a mile may bring about more improvement. Sanvean and Vitoria both have the benefit of a run under their belts already this season, but for the winner we are happy to side with Uvinza.
