Edge Closer looks to have rock solid claims in this handicap, the list of dangers is headed by Majuro and Jimmy Styles. The selection is chasing the four-timer here and he beat Majuro at Kempton last time despite losing a shoe. That was a cosy success and with the return to the turf in his favour this progressive 3-year-old can win again. Majuro will be suited by the drop back to this trip after running over 7f at Doncaster last time, but he will neeed to have improved to get the better of our selection today. Jimmy Styles won easily at Newbury last time but this is tougher for him and he has given the impression that he will be seen to even better effect over a longer trip. Genki is model of consistency and this course and distance winner can go well at a price, but Edge Closer is a classy colt and he can win again.
