Treat is selected in this high quality renewal of the Valiant Stakes with Sudoor and Italian Girl appearing the alternatives. The three-year-old's have historically had a good record in this race and Treat appears the pick of the bunch. She is more than capable of handling any surface ranging between good and anything with a bit of cut and the 1,000 Guineas fourth will be ridden for the first time by Darryll Holland. Sudoor hasn't done a lot wrong this term bar finding one too good. The filly wouldn't want too much overnight rain so the weather forecast as well as the betting forecast is watched. Kaseema has been a little disappointing this year and will need to find improvement. Cumin can be forgiven her most recent effort as that came after a long absence. Italian Girl is watched in the market while front-running Summer's Eve has it to do on the figures but can be expected to give a bold sighter at the front of the pack. She could have company from Harvest Queen. Fann finished fourth in the Forest Stakes and may have been flattered on balance. The evidence points to the three-year-old's holding sway again and Treat is selected.
