PISCEAN is a hopeful choice in as competitive a race as you could wish to find. Fathom Five and Ishetoo are others worth a mention along with the Nicholls battalion. Plenty of food for thought for punters and some may wonder if it's worth delving through the form books with winners returned at 50-1 and 66-1 in the past two seasons. There's plenty of pace on here on both sides of the track although it's never easy to predict the effect of the draw. The strong pace will hopefully prove to be ideal for habitual slow starter Piscean who is paying his first visit to the track. Things haven't dropped right for him on his last couple of starts but he could be worth chancing here. Ishetoo is another who hasn't really enjoyed the rub of the green lately but he's more than capable of making his presence felt in this company and looks well drawn given his style of running. Fathom Five was well held in a race in which Sonny Red and Group Therapy were the first two home but he's not without a chance of reversing the form. There are many more in with chances and, given the numbers, it would be something of a surprise if this prize didn't go to Dandy Nicholls but we'll be hoping that Piscean can continue the run of shock results.
