Nonrunner
NON DOM can resume winning ways at the main expense of History Lesson and Stanstill. The selection may not have seen out fourteen furlongs as well as his rivals at Salisbury so it's no surprise to see him back over twelve. He was beaten on his last run at this trip but that has turned out to be a sound effort with the winner and second both successful since. The winner was trained by Mark Johnston who is doubly represented but Interdiamonds doesn't appear to be anything out of the ordinary on the evidence available and Dialogue also has a little to prove after a couple of modest runs. The Fonz and Senses both have ability but the former needs to improve for the longer trip and the latter needs the visor to focus his mind on the job in hand. Solar Graphite missed out narrowly at Newmarket and should continue to progress but had no obvious excuse last time. History Lesson is respected and his form was given a boost when the runner-up scored impressively the very next day but he was allowed a soft lead at Windsor and we're happy to take him on as a result. Stanstill was all out to win at Chester but the form is solid and his earlier efforts suggest that a more galloping track will suit so a 4lb rise may well underestimate his superiority. His yard has been in really good form this month and he should go well but we'll take him on with Non Dom.
