Verdict

Several bid to land a hat-trick including the veteran Caspian Prince. But the veteran was beaten by Jawwaal at Doncaster earlier and Michael Dods’ charge has gone in again at the same track subsequently. Significantly landed a course and distance double with his latest victory but fourth-placed TIS MARVELLOUS (NAP) was returning from a lay-off. Clive Cox’ sprinter should be sharper today and is taken to reverse running re-opposing on more favourable terms. Both Mountain Peak and Bedford Flyer have plenty to find with a couple of these.
