Verdict
Not the easiest of sprint handicaps to fathom with a couple of progressive three-year-olds taking on their elders. Ladyship had been a beaten favourite on three occasions before losing her maiden tag at Leicester and though on the upgrade will find this much tougher. Poole Harbour has been going very well though he was well beaten the only time he tackled soft ground so it's ITALIAN TOM who is handed the vote. Ron Harris has done a superb job with the five-year-old, who has won a dozen races in his career. He likes it around here as he demonstrated when scoring in May and though now on a high enough mark regular pilot Darren Egan can claim 5lb which may just prove enough. Apollo D'Negro wasn't far behind the selection here in May and ran well again at Bath last month but the consistent My Kingdom continues to climb the weights without winning.
