Hail Promenader has been revitalised by a switch to Tony Carson and his recent victories at Chepstow and Yarmouth suggest that all ground comes alike. An ability to handle testing going will prove key and CANTOR could be the answer. A fair second at Brighton last month, he dotted up in an apprentices event at Epsom and will arrive here unpenalised for that success. Darsan cannot be discounted if he can return to the sort of form that he demonstrated on heavy at Yarmouth, while Rockweiller should fare better here on this surface rather than the truly bottomless stuff he encountered at Haydock Park. No Larking would be of interest were there to be any market confidence. Henry Candy's four-year-old probably needed his reappearance at Brighton and has shown an aptitude for a softer surface in the past.
