PATKAI will be popular here and Sir Michael Stoute's improving three-year-old gets the vote over Amerigo and Ebadiyan. A winner last time out at Haydock, Patkai was well backed on that occasion and is sure to be prominent in the market here. He is one of the higher-rated horses in the line-up and he shapes as if this step up in trip will really be the making of him. Enroller impressed last time, both in the way he travelled and how he quickened clear. Amerigo comes here on the back of two wins and his handler does so well with stayers, whilst Captain Webb shapes as if this step up in trip will really suit. Ebadiyan is well-related and has shown plenty of ability, however the application of cheek-pieces is interesting and he has claims, especially if Hebridean, who he lost to recently, runs well in the Hardwicke. Age Of Reason's form has a very solid look to it and his recent run behind Unneffer looks very solid in the context of this race. Tiffany Diamond looks the best of the fillies; however she is not certain to stay this longer trip. A tough puzzle to solve in all honesty, but narrow preference is for Patkai.
