EMIRATES SKYLINE hasn't had the most straightforward of careers but he can continue his progression with a win here at the main expense of last year's winner Championship Point, whilst Charlie Farnsbarns and Soapy Danger look two more to be wary of. Frankie Dettori was at his best when steering Emirates Skyline to victory recently at Epsom and he fully deserves his 7lb rise in the weights. He acts on any ground but probably wouldn't mind any of the forecast rain and he ran well in this race last season. He was beaten two lengths by Championship Point, who actually reopposes today on one pound better terms. He is 5lbs higher than last year's success but he is only one pound above his highest winning mark and this vastly-experienced horse comes here on the back of a fine Zetland win at Redcar recently. Bushman must be considered; he has won his last two in decisive fashion but this is a lot tougher and he has yet to face ground this quick. Buccellati knows how to win here and he stays further so a strong pace would suit him, whilst the same applies to Soapy Danger. Monte Alto should come on for a recent outing behind Championship Point, whilst Charlie Farnsbarns has won at the track and is not one to overlook now on more suitable ground. Many Volumes and Under The Rainbow are holding their form well, whilst Mutajarred beat Many Volumes last time at Great Leighs but he's progressive and can still be competitive despite a 6lb higher mark. An open contest, with Emirates Skyline given the vote.
