Haydock winner Chti Balko does best in small fields and couldn’t cope with a 6lb rise at Kempton. Malaya remains high enough in the weights but Shannon Bridge was back to his best at Wetherby and Good Man Pat has been pretty consistent this season since returning to hurdles. Albert's Back makes a quick reappearance after falling at the first at Wetherby and Wednesday while Arrivederci, Kateson and Dans Le Vent chased home the well-treated Craigneiche here last time. Jonjo O’Neill’s charge can do best of that trio again but could be up against another handicap snip in GLADIATEUR ALLEN, who beat four previous winners in a novices’ event here four weeks ago and has Chester Williams taking off 5lb again. Kaizer looked a bit unlucky at Musselburgh recently but that was over 3m2f and Kid Commando has had wind surgery since pulled up here in December. Stolen Silver has been chasing and hasn’t raced since November
