Runners from top NH yards are beginning to dominate this marathon handicap. Irish raiders have won the last four, three of them trained by Willie Mullins who saddles the mare Buildmeupbuttercup. Successful in two bumpers and a maiden hurdle, she is making her handicap debut on the Flat and is potentially well treated – Ryan Moore takes the reins. But KEROSIN is tough and consistent and won over 2m at Navan 10 days ago. Denis Hogan is not one to tilt at windmills and his charge may still be on a fair mark. The lightly-raced Ulster could be interesting if he stays and his stablemate Yabass also warrants a mention while Mengli Khan has been contesting Grade 1 races over fences.
