GO WELL SPICY went close at Chepstow last time and it was soft ground when she finished runner-up at Nottingham earlier. She was doing her best work at the finish on both occasions so this extra furlong should suit Mick Channon’s filly and she’s preferred to Havana Dawn. The latter showed improvement to finish fourth over course and distance a week ago while Cece Ceylon and Barbarella are likely improvers if handling today’s conditions having debuted on fast ground at Sandown and York respectively. Hot Touch is the first foal of a winning sprinter and preferred to Imperial Gloriana and Champagne Angel of the newcomers.
