Heaven Sent is always a player in races of this sort of ilk (second in the race last year) but LUSH LASHES is the sort of filly who can shrug off her penalty and she gets the nod over Proviso. Jim Bolger's daughter of Galileo comes here on the back of a roll in the mud at the Curragh in May. That was her first run of the season and she wasn't disgraced behind some good colts (race won by Casual Conquest). Now reunited with better ground and back at Ascot where she is one from one, this classy miler can return to the winners' enclosure. Spacious has become disappointing and looks to have regressed significantly since her two-year-old succceses, so a bigger Cheveley Park threat must be Heaven Sent. Ryan Moore knows the mare well and another big run must be on the cards, but the feeling is that she is just below this level, especially compared to the selection. Chantilly Tiffany has bumped into a few of these before, including when beaten behind Heaven Sent at Kempton a year ago. More of a threat then may be the progressive Eva's Request who is a credit to connections; she beat Spacious at Epsom last time out and this hardy filly is not one to underestimate. She's Our Mark and Royal Confidence join Rosaleen on the list of horses who probably need to improve on what we have seen so far, so of more interest is Proviso who completes the field. Ande Fabre's Dansili filly was a Group Three winner as a juvenile and her fourth to Zarkava in last-year's Prix De Diane means that she must be feared; quick ground is one question mark for her however having never faced it before. Lush Lashes is the class act in the line-up and she is nominated accordingly.
