    Verdict

A race where little that has already seen a racecourse leaps out off the page and we will take AWZAAN to win on debut, while Paradise Spectre and Sassanian might prove best of the remainder. The selection represents Mark Johnston, whose runners remain in good heart, and this Alhaarth colt is related to plenty of winning stock including juveniles. Although he should improve for the run he might just be good enough first time out. If he isn't then Paradise Spectre could be the one. Karl Burke's charge ran well for a long way at Ayr and with that positive experience to call upon he can go close. Sassanian was also tried at Ayr on his debut. The gelding looked green enough and things perhaps happened too quickly for him, but he too looks likely to show a fair bit more this time. Amno Dancer did his cause little good by being unruly before his Lingfield introduction and if he can handle the preliminaries better then he too has possibilities, but preference is for Awzaan.
