Dancing Mystery won a similar race to this around the same time last year and looks the one to beat here. He is reunited with regular partner Stephen Carson and with him not minding the expected precipitation he is the TEAMtalk selection. He is closely matched with Peruvian Chief who won well here last time out but whether he can win off his current mark remains to be seen. Trace Clip has his own mind about the game but is in good heart at the moment and rarely runs a bad race at this track. Online Investor has run some cracking races in defeat for the past two seasons and has slipped to a handy mark. Effective on any ground and with Pat Eddery on board for the first time he should go well at a decent price. If Boanerges can reproduce his early season form then he must rate a value bet with a strong lightweight booked and a handy mark to run off.
