Dinkum Diamond will be fancied to follow in the footsteps of 2009 winner Amour Propre by taking this prize for Henry Candy and the softer ground may well help him find his rhythm more easily than when he was taken off his feet in the Norfolk. He has run respectably since and had Electric Waves behind at Doncaster but that form leaves him closely matched with Pabusar on a line through New Planet and Ralph Beckett's runner should also be effective on this softer surface. The Windsor Castle form hasn't worked out which counts against Marine Commando and is more of a concern than his run at Goodwood which can be forgiven. It's interesting to see Richard Hughes aboard Invincible Ridge and Anadolu is also worth a second look but it may be worth taking an each-way chance with DARAJAAT who held a Cheveley Park Entry at the time she ran in a nursery over 7 furlongs at this track. She travelled well enough to believe that she can cope with this shorter trip and could spring a surprise in a race that her trainer has taken with a filly in the past.
