Nans Joy is preferred to Summer Gold although one or two of the others would be of interest if attracting support. The selection drops out of Pattern company for the first time in eight starts and can reap the reward. She has landed a Listed race in Germany in that time and gone close in another at Warwick but she makes far more appeal at this level and should be competitive from this mark. Summer Gold beat a subsequent winner over a mile last time and is only 3lbs higher. She is entering new territory with regard to the trip but appears to possess a change of pace and is respected. Sakhee's Song and Vital Statistics have been highly tried in their time and do have ability as does Steam Cuisine although both she and Froisee do appear to need soft ground to show their best. Nans Joy is more consistent and versatile with regard to the ground and gets the vote by default as much as anything else.
