Idle Power indicated last time that he may still be well enough treated to play a part in the finish of a race of this nature but has it to do to beat Fantasy Believer, who is preferred to another last time out winner Loyal Tycoon. The last mentioned showed improved form when running out the five-length winner of a handicap at Epsom last time and has to be respected under a 3lb penalty but Fantasy Believer was arguably even more impressive when winning a slightly better race at Newbury last time and, with any easing in the ground unlikely to inconvenience him, John Quinn's gelding makes more appeal. The booking of Lisa Jones for the Willie Jarvis-trained Bandit Queen takes the eye and she is another worthy of a mention, along with Jamie Osborne's Morse and the consistent Devon Flame. However, Fantasy Believer holds solid claims and he gets the vote.
