Punters can get off to a good start here by siding with one of the top trainers at the course in Barry Hills, who saddles Hearts Desire, with her only conceivable rival being Richard Hannon's Red Top. Hearts Desire was eventually well beaten at Goodwood on her seasonal reappearance but had shown good form when runner up on her final start of last season on good to soft ground. If the rains come that form should be good enough. Red Top appears to have had plenty of chances and was a beaten favourite at Salisbury last time and although she was unlucky in running that day she seems to find it difficult to actually get her head in front. Of the remainder it's hard to get remotely excited about anything, Mark Brisbourne's Hirayna for example was beaten a long way last time and the best you can say about the remainder is that they are unexposed but the selection is Hearts Desire to maintain Barry Hills' strike rate at the track.
