      Verdict

      REVEREND JACOBS comes out best on these terms and has obvious claims. He’s found one too good on his last three starts now, including at Newbury last time, but today could be his day with Ryan Moore taking over the reins. Both Count Simon and Uptown Funk were also placed in handicaps on their respective latest starts but have a bit to find with the selection at the weights while War Brigade was second in an ordinary maiden at Ffos Las. Hang Man is related to winner over fences but has a tough task on his debut.
