Verdict

Serenading has been thereabouts lately while Don't Tell Claire went close at Newmarket after winning at Nottingham but the three-year-olds should hold sway. Ready To Venture may have been unlucky when only beaten a short-head at Pontefract but RISING STAR seems to improve with every run and this appears to be her trip nowadays. Stefano Cherchi takes off a valuable 3lb and Marco Botti’s filly is preferred to Roman Mist, who has won four times this year but is upped in class, and Sir Michael Stoute’s pair Star Seeking and Sunrise Valley. Passionova has claims on her handicap debut but Nebulosa has had her chances recently and doesn’t look entirely straightforward.
