Odd Venture, a winner on the Flat at Cork in May, did a bit better over timber at Tramore last month. However, TREBIZOND was only headed in the closing stages after leading at halfway and normal progress can see him off the mark. Barnacullia ran well in a big field at Punchestown in May and will probably have needed the run at Ballinrobe last month while Boom Boom Boom didn't quite get the run of the race at Killarney and looks certain to go well and just holds Nevendon on that run. Fil The Power can get into contention on his hurdling debut.
