Three-year-olds have a very good record though there have been some shocks in its short history. Justice Good is the only member of the younger brigade entered and he's no forlorn hope despite only having had two runs this campaign. Aeolus is penalised for his Group 3 success at Newcastle and he didn't get the best of runs over 7f at Goodwood next time. EASTERN IMPACT ran a superb race when a close third in the July Cup then scored at Chester and though he didn't run so well on softer ground at Haydock today's conditions can see him back in the winner's enclosure. Naadirr has won at Listed level and that appears to be his correct grade and he was beaten by the handicapper Polybius at Newmarket last time as was Zanetto. Wokingham winner Interception hasn't been able to manage the step-up in class in two subsequent starts and Cable Bay hasn't run over a trip this short in two years.
