Heaven's Guest won this as a three-year-old and always goes well here though the quick ground could be against him. He's one of four entries from the Richard Fahey yard and Rene Mathis could prove best of the quartet having beat a big field at Goodwood before finding 6f too sharp behind stablemate Don't Touch in the Ayr Gold Cup. BUCKSTAY was unfortunate not to finish in the frame at Ayr having found trouble in-running and he'd earlier won a strong handicap at Newmarket. He was conceding Mr Win 2lb when beaten a head at Headquarters and should take revenge on these terms. He's handed the vote though Make It Up has a touch of quality about him and his young rider's claim is a massive bonus.
