Last week's Newmarket success was the first for JUDGE 'N JURY since he scored over this C&D in July 2009. He was 16lb lower when obliging seven days ago, making all in good style, and can repeat those tactics here off a 5lb higher mark. Magical Macey scored quite cosily at Thirsk last time and the shrewd David Barron doesn't send horses south for a change of air. Expect a prominent showing also off a 5lb higher rating. Tyfos is in fine heart at present and isn't discounted by any means but the suspicion is that the handicapper is starting to exert his grip. Similar comments are attributed to Living It Large, whilst Poppy Seed also makes the shortlist despite the concession of weight all round.
