HARRIS TWEED looks to have a good opportunity to land a deserved first win of the season. He appeared not to last the distance in the Yorkshire Cup a fortnight ago but his earlier placed efforts, in the Hardwicke at Ascot and a Group 3 at Goodwood in July when pipped at the post by Drunken Sailor, is good enough form to land this prize. Simon De Montfort has disappointed since winning a handicap at Meydan back in January and collateral form of his latest third at Windsor has him closely matched with Listed winner City Leader.
