      Verdict

TAKATUL extended his unbeaten record stepping up to this trip at Salisbury and, though this is his toughest task to date, he can win again at the main expense of Great Order. The Godolphin colt, also engaged at Haydock today, lost his maiden tag over 1m2f at Leicester and may just struggle for pace if taking part. Only 3lb separates these according to the handicapper and Bluegrass Blues and Directorship are previous course and distance winners who may prove the pick of the older horses ahead of Wolverhampton winner Gold Sands. Heather Main's charge may have won at Chepstow last time had he not met trouble in-running.
